AP Calculus BC score calculator

Your raw section scores are combined using College Board's official weights — Multiple choice (50%), Free response (50%) — into a composite, which is converted to the 1–5 scale. This calculator uses those exact weights.

Roughly 60% of the total composite, based on released exams — and about 49% for a 4 and 38% for a 3. College Board adjusts the real cutoffs each year, so treat these as estimates.

The section weights are official; the score cutoffs are estimates compiled from released exams and public scoring data. Same structure as AB with a noticeably more generous curve; BC exams also report an AB subscore. May 2026 format (the multiple-choice count changes in 2027); cutoffs are estimates from released scoring curves. Real cutoffs shift a few points year to year, so a result near a boundary could land on either side.
