Common questions
How does Cram create flashcards?
Add a topic, paste your notes, share a link, or upload a PDF, and Cram's AI turns it into a deck of question-and-answer cards in seconds — no manual typing.
What can I turn into a deck?
Typed topics, pasted text, web links, and PDFs. Choose a focus — exam, language, programming, certification, science, or general — and Cram tailors the cards to it.
How does reviewing work?
Cram uses spaced repetition: it schedules each card to come back right before you'd forget it. Set an exam date and Cram paces your reviews toward it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Cram, and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
If you reinstall Cram or switch to a new device, open Cram's settings and tap “Restore Purchases” to recover an active subscription tied to your Apple ID.
Is my data private?
Yes. Cram works offline, your decks stay on your device, and there's no account to create. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
How do I delete my data?
Because your decks live on your device, deleting the app removes them. For anything else, email us and we'll help.
